On May 2nd, Youth Will and young leaders from across the region stood before the 800-person crowd at the Opportunity Summit and unveiled the Youth Bill of Rights. The Bill of Rights is a list of eleven demands crafted over the course of several months by young people from across San Diego County, including university students, disconnected youth who are not working or in school, elementary students and young professionals. The document serves as the foundation for a new movement led by these young leaders to improve youth development policies and systems in the public education system and local government.
