The Advisory Board of the San Diego Youth Development Office (SD YDO) is delighted to announce the selection of our new Executive Director, Sean Elo. Sean was selected at the beginning of October and began his position officially on October 17th, 2018.

Sean has an impressive background that demonstrates his commitment to the community. He has been a community organizer and advocate, has a legal degree and worked as a teacher. Sean lives his values, acts strategically and works collaboratively. On the side, Sean recently ran for a position on the Board of Trustees of the San Diego Community College District. We are so excited to see where Sean takes the work of the SD YDO in this next phase.

We expect that Sean will be reaching out to many of you in the first few months, to listen and learn about the needs and assets of San Diego Youth. We appreciate any insights and support you can provide as he gets settled. We expect the YDO and Sean to do great things together with you all, and are delighted to welcome him to the helm of the San Diego Youth Development Office.
